Unassigning myself; this is not related to the MDSMap encoding changes.
However, it does look like we're now seeing warnings during "nfs migration". This is indeed fallout from https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/54312 . I'm not sure if these warnings are expected or not but the test would appear to succeed without the warnings.
Suggest investigating what this "nfs migration" procedure is and why v16.2.5 -> pacific HEAD requires it.
