Description

When trying to build todays unstable, I got the following message:

checking for sync_file_range... yes
./configure: line 15531: syntax error near unexpected token `[GTKMM],'
./configure: line 15531: `  PKG_CHECK_MODULES([GTKMM], [gtkmm-2.4 >= 1.0.0],'

The macro PKG_CHECK_MODULES wasn't known on my system because pkg-config wasn't installed.

Attached is patch which adds pkg-config as a build dependency on a Debian/Ubuntu system
